Maple Town Story

A Fantasy World of Loveable Animal Families

Our story takes in a bounlessly deep and wide forest region into which human beings have yet to set foot. Actually this is a country inhabited by animals. One train line crosses this animal country, and the small town and station known as Maple Town lie just about in the central part of the nation. Maple Town is structured in a peaceful way, with various animals forming their own families, and cooperating with each other in a variety of jobes. A lion serves as the head of the town, a monkey as the stationmaster. A squirrel runs a tailor shop, and so on. A small private post office  has been established in this town. It is run by the rabbit family. Patty, the second daughter of this rabbit family is the heroine of our story. The story begins from the day Patty and her family move  into this town. Patty is eight years old. She is lively and quick-witted, with enough curiosity for two people. But she is not very fond of sitting at a desk studying or knitting.

Depicting the “means of cooperation”  in each and every family , this story pays homage to the value of family life. In other wards, its theme lies in “praise of family”.
